the revenge of the baby-sat10.15.07

i can’t believe i just scored this comic book at half the price:

the revenge of the baby-sat

i was on my way to get my N70 from the ‘Nokia hospital’ (that thing on its underside which connects with the USB cable is broken, mostly because it keeps flying around, guess who the culprit is) yesterday when i took a shortcut through National Bookstore and happened to glance at the bargain books table.

the bargain books table! where everything is at least 50% off! what are the chances that this book would be left lying around at the discount area?? i grabbed and paid for it as soon as i saw it.

these things wouldn’t usually be on sale at Fully Booked, mind you. lucky, lucky day.

i love calvin and hobbes. their combination is just the right stuff when you want to appreciate childhood (even politics, parenting, and social issues) along with a lot of sarcasm, wit, and loads of humor. i’ve been  a fan ever since i got this one from the US eons ago.

something under the bed is drooling

watterson’s genius has been really valued a lot; Fully Booked sold a collector’s edition of all his works compiled in one big volume (forgot the title) and it cost as much as P7k. oohh-lala! if i had the money and was selfish enough i really would’ve bought it :)
