Iris Mia just loves to shout out loud in places where she knows there will be an echo.
So mommy teaches her the word “echo”.
Mommy: Mia say e-cho (enunciating the syllables very carefully)
Mia: eee-cho! (like eco)
Mommy: No, say eh– (this time emphasizing the ‘e’) –cho!
Mia: eee-cho!
Mommy: haay.

Hahaha, isn’t that a sweetest thing? I love the child’s innocence really. Reminds me, in HS there was this beautiful student in the batch who doesn’t have a clue what a word “prolong” means. It was in the CAT class. The Cor-commander was yelling at her to prolong ‘harap sa kanannnnnnnnnn’ but she immediately responded aloud like “i-prolonggggggggggg”.
I thought it was hilarious!
