Colds and a Car Crash

Cue Matt Nathanson’s Car Crash playing in the background.

I feel like I’m driving an F1 race car flying by life at 120 kph. The past 4 days went by so fast I hardly even noticed it was already happening. First there was Mia getting sick again with colds (thank goodness hindi tumuloy sa fever) and cranky just to the 3rd level (again, buti nalang). Nahawa kasi yata sa akin. Today she’s doing a lot better and eating better as well. (Sidenote for mommies: is Propan effective?)

Then yesterday someone hit me on my behind. My rear car bumper, that is. Naughty, naughty. Anyway I got into an accident with another car, driven by an HR manager from a known multinational company (if she decides not to pay for my damages I will probably blog her to hell).

car crashIt was clearly not my fault because I was past the intersection (I was going straight and she was turning left) a few meters already when she scraped my car hard (the silver one’s my car). My guess is, she had not estimated her car’s length well and/or she’s probably a new driver. I think I was pretty hard on her too that she was probably panicking when I walked up to her side of the car and started telling her how wrong she was and how right I was.

But after that, I was surprised that I wasn’t really in a pretty bad mood and that I was just smiling and chuckling at my bad fate that morning. Until now, I’m actually still cool about it. Part of my road rage rehab (yey for me).

Unless of course she decides not to pay for JMac’s (yes, that’s my car’s name) repair. :/
