Nap Time Rocks!

I’ve found the One… I’m totally ecstatic that after more than a year of searching, after everything I’ve gone through with that ex, and after that ex broke my heart, I can finally give my search a rest.

I was looking for that perfect stiletto after the one I bought from Charles & Keith a few years back gave up on me. In fairness to my ex-stiletto, it was faithful up to its very end. It was against my will to finally dump it into the give-away box, but I had to let go.

That was over a year ago. Wedges just can’t fill that gaping hole. They’re simply not the same. It’s not as sexy as the spiked heel nor does it give your feet that albeit-a-little-painful arch. Nevertheless, it made me feel powered up, like a real corporate junkie out to conquer the consumer world.

And then came Methilation and their fab array of boots, flats, and heels. Among them I found the One. I was on the verge of breaking my piggy bank into pieces when the unthinkable happened.

It is not. Available. In. My. Size.

Even if I bought the smallest available size, which was an eight, it would make me look ridiculous tip-tapping in the office with an extra unfilled mile in my shoe, wouldn’t it? Oh well, I guess some things just aren’t meant to be.
