Since Mia had been sick since Thursday, I’ve tried every imaginable thing to make her feel better because I know she was so bored just hanging on to Mommy the ENTIRE time. 
I got out my old cooking play set and let her play with it. Yup, that was mine when I was about 4 or 5 years old. You can imagine how old that toy set is. I can still remember how it worked. The stove would actually make bubbles when you put the pot on it with water. Don’t you just love old toys back in the days and you didn’t have to worry if it came from some toxic wasteland?
Ahh, fond memories.

hi doc! she’s been doing better since sunday actually. and she did take antibiotics for the tonsillitis. and she’s still taking it, 10 days daw kasi.

my kids always ask now kung made in china ba daw yung toys nila
tapos if we wouldnt know, aamuyin lang nila at kapag masang sang ang amoy, ayaw na nila!

ang sossy mo naman sis, i remember yung lutu-lutuan ko nun was the clay kind, yung mga palayok-palayok? tapos we would mash gumamelas and leaves in it and actually set it on fire, hehehe. those were the days.
keber na nga lang sa toxic chuva, hahaha!

uy hindi ah. naglaro din ako nun. it just happened na fist kid at only girl kaya medyo marami akong toys nung bata ako
pero mas gusto ko pa rin maglaro ng matchbox sa garage ng bahay ng lola ko sa gitna ng mga hollow blocks at mga kahoy kasama mga pinsan ko. ma-post nga yung picture na yun dito minsan
masaya maging bata noon. your imagination is all you have and you still have fun!
