Good morning Upper East Side. It’s your favorite Gossip Girl dishing out the latest on what and who matters in Manhattan. Spotted 6 weeks ago: Serena van der Woodsen stepping out of the Grand Central Station, back in the lives of the Upper East Siders. Not that we’re lacking enough complication already. The past few weeks since her debut in her bestfriend Blaire’s (and unfortunately Nate’s too) life has been altogether bitter and sweet.

Spotted today: Serena strolling down Park Avenue with a backpack in tow… Is she leaving again? I know you’re itching as much as I do to know what S is up to again. Does B know about this sudden departure? I’m pretty sure S is leaving because her direction sure points back to the Grand Central Terminal. And you know that this girl does not rest until mysteries are solved — the UES way.

As if it hasn’t been enough for Serena to have secrets (like the one embarrassingly announced at the Ivy League party). Her rep hasn’t exactly been sparkling clean even if she had come back like a changed girl. And all these sneaking around? There’s definitely something going on here.

Can’t wait to find out? Well so do I. But you know there’s only one thing to do now, check back in on my blog for updates. You know you love me. xoxo, Gossip Girl.

Serena decides to cut the trip short and flags down a cab. It screeches to a halt in front of her and she gets in.

“The La Guardia airport please.”

“Lady that’s gonna cost you.” The cab driver measures up his passenger.

“Yeah whatever. Just take me there, ok? I have a flight to catch,” she mutters. Why does everyone seem to want to take advantage of me? I should’ve just called for a car service.

The flight out to Nashville, Tennessee was short and uneventful and Serena could not wait to get off the plane. Her mission here was simple too. To find and bring back her brother Eric who apparently left New York in a manner similar to hers more than a year ago. Just this time, he had left a note to Serena.
Scanning the airport arrival area, she spotted the information booth and walked towards it.

“Excuse me, where can I find a service to rent a car in Nashville?” She asks the woman in uniform with a stiff smile.

“There’s a phone booth over there sweetie, and a phone book.” The woman answered curtly.

So much for asking for help. Serena thinks as she draws back. Guess I’m in this by myself.

She remembered a roadtrip adventure that she and Blaire have made a few years back and that they had actually made it to Chicago with the help of the internet. She quickly made her way to an internet cafe to search for a car rental service they had used. She quickly found the site and scheduled a pick up at the airport and a drop-off at the Hotel Preston. It was fast, easy, and so convenient — something she was willing to pay for anytime. Her brother needed her.

Good evening Upper East Side! It’s your favorite Gossip Girl back with, well, not much news. Still not spotted today, Serena van der Woodsen. I guess this is going to be a spin off of last year’s drama when B’s very dear BFF disappeared under everyone’s nose. Now, the Queen B isn’t gonna like that, is she?

Makes me think again, did S do something wrong again? Something very, very wrong?

Stay tuned next time for more of UES hot, hot news. xoxo, Gossip Girl.
