I made a small booboo at work today. I was supposed to give a memo/permit to an officemate a week ago for our third party agency’s use. But the permit was dated, and it expired last June 4.

This afternoon, after getting a text from the officemate reminding that I had something to give her, I panicked. I knew I put it away with my stuff. And when I say stuff, that means a whole sack of papers, a couple of notebooks, some ballpens, a huge calculator, sometimes some baby stuff that I forgot to transfer to Mia’s baby bag, and lots of other (seemingly useless) things.

I saw that it was in one of my laptop bag’s many secret compartments. Crap. Somehow in the busy-ness of my life I forgot to hand it over.

Or maybe, some Strange Little Office Being took a fancy at my ‘organized mess’ and hid it until I actually needed it today. Yes, that’s probably it. These little things called SLOBS are probably also the culprit of my brand-new-office-supplied Pilot signpen’s disappearance. I knew I put that one inside my drawer and I actually liked that pen.

I’ll need to catch a Slob and punish it for that booboo I made. And make him return my pen. And even teach him a little lesson in Office Depot Slob’s Racing. Winner gets all the ballpens he/she will need to last a lifetime. Haha.
