Banana Chocolate Fondue

Posted in Food on Apr 09, 2008

This is how you enjoy a chocolate fondue without shelling out at least three hundred bucks and while satisfying your craving for dessert.

First, buy chocolate spread at the supermarket. The more cost effective the brand (read: cheaper), the better. As for me, I settle for Finetti. It costs about P20 cheaper than the leading brand but the taste differs little. Just don’t go chocolate connoisseur on me.

Second, get an unassuming banana from the fruit basket (put it in the ref to chill if you want; just don’t peel yet).

Third, dunk your butter knife/spoon in the chocolate jar and get as much as you want.

Fourth, spread the yummy chocolate all over the banana,

and fifth, enjoy the dessert!

Of course, you can slice the banana first, heat the chocolate spread until it melts, and then enjoy your dessert. This is just how my brother and I like it. :)
