Sick Mia
she’s gone early to bed tonight so i can sneak in a couple of posts and comments. that’s because of the drugs i’m giving her and i’m not happy about it. mia used to be a perfectly healthy baby until she turned 1.
is it really like that? she never got colds till then and if she ever got sick with fever it would only last for a day or even just half of it. this is her record breaking illness so far, running on its 4th day. it started with a throat infection (not tonsillitis) which she might have gotten from someone who was sick (with colds or sore throat) or the stuff she puts into her mouth. the daily vitamins should’ve done its job but i guess this time it was really bad.
what made it worse for me is that she got sick while i was away for 3 days at subic for work. i felt so helpless that i couldn’t do anything about it. good thing she was left with my mom and dad because i was already panicky on the 2nd day that her fever was not going away. so she was brought to the doctor.
a prescription of drugs later, mia was reported to be doing better already. i loved my speed dial because i was calling home every 3 or 4 hours just to check on mia. sometimes i was tempted to call every hour. that would’ve driven my mom crazy.
i was so happy to finally get home even after the ATV adventure and banana boat ride (that would be a different post) at Grande Island. mia was like ‘lantang gulay’ when i saw her but at least she’s improved for the rest of the day. oh and she loves lounging on the bean bag too.
i’ve been really tempted to spoil her because she’s been really sick but while she’s getting cuter and cuter with her ‘tricks’,

she can also throw a tantrum already. that’s not good right? anyway, mia has also gotten cough and colds lately. poor baby.
she’s already learned what the tissue is for, thanks to my affair with it. i really hope she gets well soon because she’s always asking to be carried more lately and she hasn’t been playing around with her toys. she’s just like this,

hi ris! i hope mia will be 100% well soon. i would have gone mad as well if abby got sick for a long time. i’m glad mia’s getting better. she’s so adorable!

uso talaga sakit now.kahit ako e tinamaan niyan e.may ubo p nga ako.painumin mo ng maraming tubig.tsaka icosult mo s doc pra maresitahan ng tamang gamot.may ank din kasi ako.isang 4yo girl at 1 yo boy.

cute photos of mia! good to know she’s feeling a lot better now. my baby’s first time to get allergies, have fever, cold and cough was when she turned 1.

i can empathize, ninna was sick the whole week last week din. we were on antibiotics and all of those icky meds she hates so much. and yes, para rin siyang lantang gulay last week and i’m so not used to seeing her like that!
anyway, i hope mia gets better soon.
ps. i do adore that picture of her making “beautiful eyes” hehehe. ang cute!
