I think this movie was taken from a Korean Movie, much like The Lake House (tama ba yun) by Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock from the Korean Movie "Il Mare". What I like about it was that there were no religious overtures injected on the subject. Just a matter-of-fact being human and weighing in your options. She was methodical in facing her problems and of course having that extra layer of friends, supportive dad and feisty step-mom made it a bit bearable for her. However, I was lost with the nerdy conversations there, perhaps that's probably how youth talks these days, di ko na dig masyado. Well the hospital scene was kind of sad, it's not easy to just give your baby for adoption (because you made a mistake and pregnant at 16) and end up like that?
