Photoblogging: Delicious

Before I go on to my post’s topic, I just wanted to share these photos I took at my tita’s backyard in Bulacan. They had a pretty little gazebo with those hanging plants whose roots dangle from anywhere you hang them. I’m not sure what you call them.

Roots. A play on lighting and the photo editor.

And my belated Valentine’s photo. I just love this one.

I promised I’ll repost The Vegetarian Monster’s photo because it now talks.

And it’s an activist. Hahaha.

My officemates and I discovered one dessert heaven at Tiendesitas, Dulcelin Gourmet, which sells the best Mango Torte. Its nougat crust, not-too-sweet cream, and the yummiest thick mango slices just taste perfect.

So one time after lunch at Sango (a nice little Japanese restaurant that makes really good burgers), we just had a craving for the famous mango torte (the first one made such an impression that it was consumed in like, 10 minutes). Hindi naman dahil sa katakawan, but the 6 of us bought a whole 9-inch cake (P530), brought it to SM Hypermart’s foodcourt, and there it was gone in 15 minutes. :D

What’s funny is, after looking satisfied with smiles on our faces (and licking off the last cream on the fork) and knowing that nobody really cared that we were attacking a piece of cake, someone from 2 tables away from us approached ours and asked, “Pinapatanong po ng boss ko, saan niyo daw nabili yang cake?” :)

Talk about the power of direct marketing. haha. They did buy the mango torte and even thanked us for telling them about it. So where’s my discount card now? :)

“Yummy” doesn’t necessarily just refer to food right? If you’re a guy passing by C5 on your way south to Libis, and you see this billboard standing out from a gray and dreary background of overcast skies, what word comes to your mind first?

Sorry for not doing justice to Penelope. It’s hard to take a picture while driving.

Her picture just screams “sexy”. It’s bold but not so; it’s sexy and seductive but still covers up. I like it. And contrary to popular (male) belief, I think it’s sexier when there’s not much nudity. Don’t you?
