<description>my last interview for a job was done over the phone, long-distance. Because of the time difference, I was up at 6am, waiting for their call. It was the first time I ever got interviewed wearing pajamas and before I even brushed my teeth. :)

<description>i worked in HR (recruitment) before and i can relate. i get about 50-100 resumes in a day and i'm not ashamed to say that i sorted them out purely based on first impression (based on the pic and presentation of the resume). i believe kasi dati na if someone is serious about the job, he/she'll take the time to make a presentable, succint, and credible resume.

and then during the interview part... grabe, its always a lait-fest (sorry for the term) among myself and my staff. we couldn't help it eh, some applicants talaga just don't take the time to prepare. for me, as the interviewer, it's akin to disrespect - like a slap in the face of the company and a waste of my time.

pero syempre, its always a happy event when you're suprised to be proven wrong - like your spiky-haired dude, i guess. :)
