Fab5 first feature: fredflare.com

December 16th, 2007 Posted in Clothes & Stuff, FabFinds

I thought about having another category for my posts because sometimes it just gets boring yakking about my personal life. And since I’ve been discovering the joys of internet surfing lately because of wifi DSL, I want to share 5 cool things I find around the web. It’ll be mostly stuff (which you can actually buy; I’ll be providing details of course), but sometimes if I run out of good ideas, it’ll be other things :) I’ll also try to give an update weekly, if not more often. And for lack of a better title, it’s going to be named “Fab5″ for now. (Suggestions are most welcome; I hope don’t get into any copyright trouble for the term). Here are the first Fab5 things for the week, featuring FredFlare.com!

How would you like your rug? It’s Triple B Studio’s Egg Rug (sunnyside up) at FredFlare.com. Such a nice way to brighten up your mornings. ($24. Ships to the US only)

With cherries on top, please. The cake towel concept is such a genius. Every year, we always get a towel for our birthdays or Christmas like a horrible tradition. With these designs though, it gives a fresh take on the usual gift of choice. (Cake Roll Washcloth. $10. Ships to the US only)

If you really like this, I’ve actually found something like it sold at SM Cubao’s department store for only less than P100 per piece. They also have towels designed like chocolate cake slices.

Boombox, baby! Who says carrying a boom box (an old cassette radio) around is out of style? What with the popularity of character pendants and chain necklaces, these are nice adds to a fashionista’s collection. (Boombox necklace, $12. Bestie necklace set, $14)

A hymn book that sings. (Hymn book iPod case, $28)

If you’re not in the US (where fredflare.com ships to anywhere), you can buy these cool stuff from a relative or a friend and pay them thru paypal. It’s too bad sometimes when you finally have a great find online and you find out that the seller hasn’t gone international yet. Anyway I’ll keep you posted if they do.
