i want my mommy! she and my brothers are stuck in school (damn those flooded streets and the people who dump their garbage everywhere) right now and i’m home alone with the dog. i bet she’s (the dog, and her name’s barbie by the way) also feeling crappy today. her playground is all wet and cold.

Crap episode #011

i woke up late again. by some universal conspiracy the alarm on my phone refused to work. this is an outrage, i try to wake up early to get to work and here you are, choosing to malfunction at the best time. damn clock. or maybe i just forgot to set the clock last night. hmm.

everything must be in slow motion. the water from the shower, my mother making a ruckus about the time, the food digesting in my mouth. finally! i’m out the door.

the daily pollution greets me while i squint at the PUJs passing by. i really need to get to work real quick. but then again, who cares, work starts at the office at, like, 10 o’clockish anyway. riding the bus has been my recent early morning past time lately.

yeah, i hate commuting, but you never get to sit for a few moments in silence while the view changes every 2 seconds or so (except when traffic is really heavy and the view doesn’t change for the next minute or so). that keeps me entertained, even for a while.

so i board this bus, and i see a familiar face. yeah, it’s him alright. i seem to be coming to work late with a purpose. three days in a row now. three days. could this be a sign?

Crap episode #010

this isn’t me.

i don’t usually hate people at random, nor do i wish that something bad happens to them. like probably an anvil would drop down from the sky on the their heads. but you ever get the feeling when you wake up one morning, and everything just seems to be wrong?

maybe today being friday the 13th doesn’t help at all, but then again i am not even superstitious.

do you ever get that neurotic feeling that people seem to be ganging up on you, and worse, that they’re playing you for a fool? it’s one of those days again. and i don’t even know where it’s coming from.

or maybe i do. and i know exactly how to cure it. but i can’t, because i can only do so much.

pathetic isn’t it?

and you think it’s easy? sitting across the table from you, imagining you to be miles away just so i can marvel at your simplicity without blinding myself?

you think i can do this? to hold you at an arm’s length when the very thought of you melts my heart, and the sight of you compels my arms to just wrap itself around you?

so, you really think you can just do that? walk away from me, without so much of a glance, right into the arms of somebody else?

man, you really ought to learn how to be just a little sensitive sometimes.

Through The Looking Glass

I found a few lines that she wrote a couple of weeks back. I was a little surprised, a slight trace of a grin finding its way on my face. Loneliness had been her companion back then, sitting beside a boy she barely knew and desperately loved.
