Crap episode #004

June 22nd, 2004 | No Comments | Posted in Photoblogging, What's it like to be me

Ooh, the things we talk about over a plate of the local pares. It’s not really something that will end the world, but somehow the subject of still being single haunts me and my girl friends even at this hour of the night.

It’s close to midnight and we’re chattering about the point of being boyfriend-less and why it’s so damn more meaningful than being attached. Of course that wasn’t sarcasm, but a fact that I’d willingly point out to anyone who dares contest the philosophy of the bachelorette. I’d love to go on and do just that, but I think I’ll pass for now.

I know anyone who is currently swooning with love will tell me this is a phase that I would gratefully dismiss once I found “The One”. And I think so too. But right now, I’m not at that phase, and I’m not feeling grateful yet. Maybe I will, soon — well I hope soon.

I’m telling you, this won’t be like Bridget Jones’ entry that pathetically swears off love until I do find it. I think I’d rather believe Love Actually this time… Why not, the world is such a nice place to be too bitter in. (”,)
